Carlos Verona is considering change of environment: "There are other options and they will be evaluated"

Everything indicates that Carlos Verona and the Movistar Team will part ways at the end of this season. Although he affirms that nothing has been confirmed, rumors indicate that he has already agreed to sign him with INEOS Grenadiers.

Carlos Verona revealed in an interview with the newspaper AS that he's got multiple options ahead of 2024. “I am feeling very well in this team, but we are in a time where negotiations take place. There are other options and they will be evaluated,” he surely said in reference to the British team, which could be his destiny in 2024.

And on his part he confirms that there's no agreement so far. “There is nothing signed, we are starting May and we it is still too early to decide. But hey, there are other options and in the end it is time to assess, contemplate and make the best possible decision,” he explained.

He currently contests the Giro d'Italia as a request that he had made months ago to his bosses to get out of the monotony of always doing the Tour and Vuelta. They granted his wish, which is a sign of the good relationship between the parties. But even when things are good, a change of scenery can be a step forward.
