Whilst teams frequently reveal new temporary equipments at the Grand Tours with the prospect of further increasing their sponsor exposure, so do bike manufacturers. Cube has painted Biniam Girmay's bike for the World Championships with special colours.
Following a very successful season, Eritrea will be able to take six riders to the Elite men's Road Race, and have taken a full delegation to Australia. Biniam Girmay has been the main source of points for the nation, and he has had a special paint scheme provided by Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux's bike provider Cube for the race, painted in red, green and blue besides the regular black at the bottom of the bike.
Girmay will be one of the contenders for the race, having shown his climbing abilities throughout the year. Having won Gent-Wevelgem he has shown to have the endurance, and throughout the year he's proved to have the sprint to contest with the best aswell.
