Belgium Tour sees Fabio Jakobsen lead Quick-Step alongside Tour de France leadout

Fabio Jakobsen will be leading Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team at the Tour de France, and he's using the Baloise Belgium Tour as the final step in the preparation for the Grand Boucle this summer.
Jakobsen will have two stages where he will try to bring in success for the Belgian team, having his leadout of Michael Morkov, Florian Sénéchal and Yves Lampaert alongside him. Furthermore the team will be counting on further support from Mauro Schmid and Stan van Tricht, both riders can have a saying in the general classification simultaneously.
Team DS Tom Steels has said, in preparation for the race: “The Belgium Tour will be a good opportunity to fine-tune a bit how Fabio and Michael work, supported by the rest of the guys, who bring in a lot of experience. Concerning the GC, Mauro can try and get a good result there before going back home for the National Championships”
