Lotto Dstny's 20-year-old Belgian prospect,
Arnaud De Lie will begin his 2023 campaign at the revived Clàssica Valenciana with his main spring target being Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.
The Walloon Bull as he is known is regarded by Lotto Dstny as a potential star of the future. With nine career wins to his name despite his young age, they could be right. With De Lie hoping 2023 will be a breakthrough season, the Belgian will get underway on January 22nd at the revived Clàssica Valenciana before moving on to the Grand Prix La Marseillaise on the 29th of January.
As the calendar turns from January to February, De Lie steps up his early season work by first racing Étoile de Bessèges between the 1st and the 5th of February then returning to Spain the following week at the Clásica de Almería. The main objective of his early season comes on February 26th as De Lie attempts to make his mark at Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.
Having a relatively busy schedule to kick off the season means that De Lie will be absent from Lotto Dstny's altitude training camp at the Syncrosfera hotel in Alicante, Spain, taking place in February as the team prepares for the upcoming campaign.
