OFFICIAL: Col du Tourmalet and Alto de l'Angliru headline Vuelta a Espana 2023 route reveal

In Barcelona this afternoon the Vuelta a Espana organizers have finally revealed the highly anticipated route for the 2023 edition. It includes several famous mountaintop finishes and a very diverse route that will start in Madrid.

The race will start in Barcelona before heading towards Andorra where on the third stage there will immediately be a high mountain stage summit.

The climbs of the Col du Tourmalet, Alto de l'Angliru and many other hard ascents will be present in the race later on.
