Andy Schleck CP NVST withdraws from Women's Tour de Suisse due to postivie covid case

Covid -19 impacted Tour de Suisse and Tour of Slovenia earlier this week , forcing teams and riders to withdraw from the race and now the Women's Tour de Suisse is facing COVID-19 issues.

"Sadly, Andy Schleck CP NVST Immo Losch will not start stage 3 at the Tour de Suisse due to a positive Covid-19 test this morning," announced the team via social media on Monday before stage 3 of the race.

"The team conducted rapid antigenic tests on all riders and staff this morning after an isolated case of symptoms for one of the staff. The staff member returned positive. As a precautionary measure, on the advice of our management and in consultation with the Tour management the team will withdraw from the race," the team said in a press release. Kristen Faulkner has set into the third stage with the race lead, as the peloton rides into Chur today for a hilly affair.
