Kristen Faulkner wins second stage ITT in Tour de Suisse Women

Kristen Faulkner won the time trial on Sunday to grab a overall lead in the Tour de Suisse Women. Faulkner finished four seconds ahead of stage 1 winner Lucinda Brand. Georgia Williams finished second and Georgia Baker secured third position.

“I’m just going to try to race my own race, I enjoy climbing and we have a ‘queen stage’ here. I’m going to look forward to that and hopefully do well. I’ve got to stay calm right now and race the rest of the race," Faulkner said. She is now in the lead of the race and will be trying to defend it in the coming days.
