Mathieu van der Poel has opted to do the Giro d'Italia/Tour de France double this year, but inbetween there is no racing involved. The Dutchman is currently in Livigno, but his preparation for the Tour isn't done only on the road.
Van der Poel has shared this morning a video on Instagram showing off his mountain biking skills, as he rode through a high-speed drop. Although van der Poel is currently on hiatus from Mountain Biking, he will be eyeing the 2024 XCO Olympics as a big goal and has not forgotten about the rugged terrain.
