Andreas Leknessund wins Arctic Race of Norway

Andreas Leknessund has won the fourth and final stage of the Arctic Race of Norway. He maintained his lead till the finish line to secure the gold.

There was no breakaway at the start of the race. The peloton rode together for the next 20 kilometers before the race was temporarily neutralized due to a protest on the road. The race was resumed after removing the protesters.

After 60 kilometers of racing, we saw the first breakaway group, which included Amund Grøndahl Jansen, Andreas Leknessund, Dmitriy Gruzdev, Louis Barré, Florian Dauphin, Sam Bennett, Ángel Fuentes, and Jens Reynders. However, the group could not hold the lead for much longer.

Andreas Leknessund, Alessandro Verre and Fabien Grellier then took a lead of 1 minute and 25 seconds. Andreas was the only one who kept the lead till the finish and won the stage. Nicola Conci finished in second place. Axel Zingle took the bronze. Leknessund is also the overall winner of the tour.
