The French peloton had another classic today at La Polynormande, where the hilly route gave way for Franck Bonnamour to perform and take an important win, signalling his return to top form B&B Hotels-KTM.
The Frenchman was the fastest of a group of five that escaped throughout the race. It was an aggressive race, which at the end favoured Bonnamour as Clément Venturini could not go onto the win as the big favourite from the front group. Bonnamour outsprinted Lorenzo Rota and Anthony Turgis for his first win of the year.
