Alexander Kristoff conquers the third stage of Deutschland Tour

Alexander Kristoff has won the third stage of the Deutschland Tour. He was fastest to cross the finish line and secure the victory.

The breakaway included Moritz Kretschy, Byron Munton, Jan Hugger, and Julian Borresch. But were soon caught in the next 10 kilometers. After some time, Byron Munton, Quentin Jauregui, and Jan Hugger were able to create a gap of 3 minutes and 25 seconds.

However, the peloton caught up with the trio 20 kilometers before the finish line. Tony Gallopin launched a surprise attack just 1 kilometer before the finish line but was caught soon. Kristoff was the first to cross the finish line. Florian Sénéchal finished second while Alberto Bettiol took the bronze.
