Undisputed victory of Miguel Ángel López in the Tour de Catamarca. The Colombian has once again shown that he is the best rider of the South American circuit finishing the overall of the Argentinean race with more than a minute and a half ahead of his teammate in Team Medellin - EPM Javier Jamaica.
Third overall was Movistar-Best PC's Ecuadorian Santiago Montenegro. The last stage was won by the Italian Samuel Quaranta ahead of the Uruguayan Pablo Anchieri. Note that the Spanish Óscar Sevilla finished eighth in the general classification, 2:46 behind his teammate Miguel Ángel López.
