- Not sure you’re right, you probably missed the training crash info which may be affecting performance at the moment. If it’s only that, he’s more than capable of returning to form in time an even a slightly below par Wout is worth more during a TdF than most of Visma’s alternatives, or who would you suggest?
- Poor little bubba, should go back to track.
The whole point of yellow cards the Jonas comparison, this guy is way past his yellow card and still doesn’t get it. OF COURSE they focus at him more than others now! It’s like that in EVERY life situation for someone who’s attracted attention before. Stop crying and grow up, solve your problem.yourself.
Looking at the picture, is that a padded ski jumping suit he’s got on?
- and at the very least, why did they bring him here?
- My honest bold prediction is that Pogacar will skip the tour in 2028 to focus on the olympics. I think that year he will do TDU or UAE then Strade, Itzulia, LBL, Giro, National Championships, Olympics, Vuelta and Il Lombardia (2028 worlds is a sprinters course so Pogacar will skip the worlds I assume).
- The irony. Michael Rasmussen? says what? And, it's not Rex's fault he has a better personality than Rasmussen.
- You're delusional af if you think she's more versatile
- GC over?
- I'd say she's more versatile. Pogacar can obviously win Omloop but he's never tried. Conversely, Vollering doesn't go for Roubaix even though she can win it
- Quite possible... he's just come back from altitude, meaning that it's sometimes difficult to adjust but also that he should be on good form soon. If that doesn't come round tomorrow and the day after then his participation should be seriously considered. But it's more than form - Wout brings experience and creates a good atmosphere, much like Alejandro Valverde. Although I don't expect disagreements in Visma's TDF squad.
- Van Aert should not be on the Visma team for the TDF. He is broken after his Spring victory and Visma needs every bit of power to challenge Pogacar.
