Adriatica Ionica Race: Riccardo Lucca wins stage four as GC saves race lead

Riccardo Lucca won the fourth stage of the Adriatica Ionica Race, taking a very important result for his team Work Service-Vitalcare-Dynatek as the breakaway resisted the surge from the peloton.

The 25-year old was the strongest from the day's breakaway, distancing his rivals into the finale in Sirolo. Emil Dima and Riccardo Verza completed the podium, whilst in the peloton Filippo Zana managed to defend his lead against the attacks of Natnael Tesfatsion and Vadim Pronskiy.
