Chapeau to Tuckwell, van Gils and Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe as a whole. That's what you call a proper team performance. If Finn Fisher-Black had not abandoned Tuckwell might have had a greater lead.

Wout goes home!?!?... Did sprinter Aert give up before the embarrassment on the climbs this weekend? All these cyclists should be banned from cycling. Almeida should be Wout van Aert's teammate next season, it doesn't matter which team, but they are made to race together. Aert is in the company of Almeida as soon as a small hill appears. I realize that sprinters are not cyclists and that their victories are seen as rest days for the BIG boys... GC boys!!!

Seixas and Isaac del Toro can't be proud of themselves. The two main rivals and contenders for the overall victory are more than 3 min. down on the leader??? If Pogi was here, he'd be leading the race since day one... because the day one course (the last climb on Cote de Rousset) was also made for Pogi. So you see, there is a big BIG difference between Pogi the G.O.A.T. ... and the rest of the wannabe goats. The real G.O.A.T. knows where to attack to make the difference, but these young "amateurs" are still learning.

Joke of the week: "Alongside riders like Matteo Jorgenson and Bruno Armirail, Wout van Aert will be a key man for Jonas Vingegaard as the Dane will dethrone Tadej Pogacar and win his third Tour de France."

The UCI does not want to lose because they are weak. Van Schip doesn't want to lose either, so will not become a passive law abiding citizen. And it's not as if he can make the headlines in any other way...

60 riders vs 75 so there isn't much of a difference. Other than Luke Tuckwell (virtual leader) there aren't any GC riders up the road. Red Bull and Uno-X are the 2 teams in the most favourable positions.
