Fem van Empel has opened up the 2023-2024 season in great fashion, winning the first Belgian cross in Beringen with relative comfort.
The Dutchwoman moved immediately on the second lap of the race in a tough and dry circuit, and made the difference. After an interesting season on the road, she returns with great success to her first race in the CX bike. Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado rode to a strong second place holding off the rest, Shirin van Anrooij crossed the line in third.
