Niels Vandeputte took the biggest win of his career in Lille two weeks ago but today has perhaps topped himself once again. In Oostmalle, the last cross of the season, the Alpecin-Deceuninck rider beat Lars van der Haar and Eli Iserbyt.
Vandeputte hence ends his season with a third victory. Lars van der Haar and Eli Iserbyt, two riders who race full on from start to finish of the season, were both strong competition but had to settle for podium spots behind the Belgian.
