Laurens Sweeck snatches victory from van der Haar in Exact Cross Waaslandcross

Crelan - Fristads rider Laurens Sweeck has won the Exact Cross Waaslandcross. He beat Lars van der Haar at the last moment to secure his seventh win of the season. Eli Iserbyt completed the podium.

The race began exceptionally well for Kevin Kuhn, while Lars van der Haar had a slow start, falling behind. Shortly thereafter, Michael Vanthourenhout and Eli Iserbyt caught up with Kuhn at the front of the pack.

Lars van der Haar, after a slow start, was able to make a comeback and join the leading group, which included Laurens Sweeck. The Dutch champion applied pressure to the other riders, and only Vanthourenhout was able to match his pace. However, Vanthourenhout's error in the sand section proved costly, allowing van der Haar to pull away.

Laurens Sweeck crossed the finish line ahead of other and secured the win. Lars van der Haar followed him and finished second. Eli Iserbyt completed the podium.
