Laurens Sweeck beats Lars van der Haar to secure X2O Trofee Lille victory

The X2O Trofee Lille was won by Laurens Sweeck, who overcame Lars van der Haar to secure hissixth win of the season. This victory also reduced the time gap between him and Eli Iserbyt, the overall leader, in the current rankings.
Laurens Sweeck started off well, with Lars van der Haar and Eli Iserbyt close behind. Michael Vanthourenhout was not visible at the front as he was grappling at the end. Van der Haar was constantly exerting pressure on the other competitors.
Van der Haar managed to distance himself, with Sweeck following closely behind. Iserbyt, on the other hand, was having a rough race as he tumbled in the sand section. Pim Ronhaar was just behind.
Laurens Sweeck crossed the finish line and secured the win. Lars van der Haar finished second and Eli Iserbyt took the bronze.

- I don't mind seeing Froome in the peloton, but he's a multimillionaire, he shouldn't take money that could give a few young guys, maybe more, a spot on a pro team.
