"It was very tough and it felt like Bambi on ice," she can still laugh after the snow cross. "You were riding on ice everywhere, there was no real grip anywhere. It was often a gamble and therefore you had to take the bends slowly."
Alvarado had to skip a cross weekend last week due to illness and she still felt that. "That was really disappointing," she says. "It was difficult to ride over the limit and stay clear. And I felt that I was very tired at the end. In the end I didn't win, but I'm really happy with those points for the
World Cup rankings."
