Nairo Quintana finds himself in a complicated position into 2023, following two tramadol positive tests during the Tour de France, in a time where most of the World Tour teams - and others who could afford him - have completed their major signings for the winter. Without a contract yet for the coming season, the Colombian is at home training.
His contract with Arkéa Samsic was set to be extended this winter, but the case - in which he is currently working on - has seen the agreement off with the newly-World Tour squad. Quintana is currently training in Boyacá, Colombia, where a video shared on social media sees him training deep in the mountains in the rainy weather on a mountain bike.
