The Velo d'Or is an award delivered to the athlete believed to have performed the best throughout the season, and this year the list of candidates has been revealed for both men's and women's peloton.
The Velo d'Or has been won by Tadej Pogacar last year, topping Primoz Roglic and Wout van Aert in the standings. The distinct award is also set to feature two different lists this year, as a separation has been made between the men and women, allowing both to win the award yearly.
