Tadej Pogacar is getting closer and closer to
Jonas Vingegaard in the classification of the
Tour de France 2023. The Slovenian, for the third consecutive stage, attacked the Dane and took time off him. This time he did it on the final ramps of the climb to the Grand Colombier, in the last meters, where after a huge effort he left his rival on the wheel again to take 4 seconds off him at the finish.
Pogacar is now nine seconds back in the standings and we have two big mountain stages ahead of us on both Saturday and Sunday. It's worth taking a look at the UAE Team Emirates rider's brutal attack, where not only did he gain four seconds on the road but another four in bonifications.
