VIDEO: Jonathan Milan hilariously messes up Giro d'Italia podium celebration

Having worn the Maglia Ciclamino for almost the entirety of the 2024 Giro d'Italia, you would have thought that Jonathan Milan would have mastered the art of a podium celebration by now. Looking at the evidence in Rome however, that's the case.

Celebrating his overall victory in the points classification for the second year running, the Lidl-Trek powerhouse narrowly missed out on the stage win in Rome having made a thrilling comeback in the final few kilometres after an ill-timed late mechanical. On the podium however, the Italian hilariously messed up his attempt to pop the champagne.
