Luck was not the side of all riders today at the GP de Denain. Stan Dewulf rode into a pile of manure, but over on the road Hugo Hofstetter had similar luck as he managed to break two sets of handlebars in the cobbles of northern France.
The Arkéa Samsic rider was one of the big favourites for the French race but did not have the best circumstances. He broke the handlebars on his original bike, and after switching a second set got broken. It was a tough day for Arkéa, and Hofstetter did not complete the race after these mishaps.
