Over the weekend we've had a thrilling edition of Gent Wevelgem and the end of the Volta a Catalunya. These two competitions have added a lot of UCI points to a few riders and the standings have changed quite a lot. Juan Ayuso in fact is now ahead of Ganna, van der Poel and Pogacar as the rider to score the most UCI points in 2025!

You can check the previous update. The UAE Team Emirates - XRG rider finished second in the Volta a Catalunya but the GC and several strong stage results saw him score 425 points this week, enough to boost him up the charts and put him as the number 1 rider in 2025. He is ahead even of Filippo Ganna who previously led this after his podium at the E3 Saxo Classic. He is in front of Mathieu van der Poel and Tadej Pogacar, and also Gent Wevelgem winner Mads Pedersen who's soared to a very tight fifth place. All five riders sit very close to each, but quite ahead of the rest of the peloton.

In 6th sits Jonathan Milan now, third at Gent Wevelgem. Out of the riders who raced the Tour Down Under, Jhonatan Narváez and Javier Romo are now the last riders in the Top10, whilst Tom Pidcock and Christian Scaroni are currently ahead of them.

In the year-long standings Tadej Pogacar's lead over Remco Evenepoel has diminished as he lost last hyear's Catalunya points. Mathieu van der Poel and Jasper Philipsen in fact have also lost a large amount of points due to the same reason, and from 7th to 4th comes Catalunya winner Primoz Roglic who scored over 500 points in this update.

Jonathan Milan and Mads Pedersen come very close to the Top10 due to their string of results; Filippo Ganna and Juan Ayuso also come close to the Top10, whilst riders like Wout van Aert and Mikel Landa have lost points and lots of positions - enough to take them out of the Top20. Alexander Kristoff, Lennert van Eetvelt, Phil Bauhaus and Hugo Hofstetter are some of the riders to have benefited the most this week, climbing up the Top100 significantly.
