UCI Rankings Teams Update | UAE Team Emirates blast rankings in World Championships week; Decathlon comes dangerously close to INEOS

A lot of points were awarded at the World Championships, and despite being late in the season there are still chances to make differences in the UCI Rankings. Regarding the points scored only in the 2024 season, a few teams definitely took advantage of this week and scored big!

You can check the previous update. Another 1800 points were added to UAE Team Emirates' tally after Tadej Pogacar conquered the world title, in a race where Marc Hirschi also scored big for the team. It is a massive increase of the team's advantage against a Team Visma | Lease a Bike that scored a mere 100 points over the past week. The gap is still big towards a Soudal - Quick-Step that sits third around 2700 points behind, led by Remco Evenepoel.

Lidl-Trek, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe and INEOS Grenadiers continue to follow in the same order but Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team has gotten very close to the 6th position once again after Ben O'Connor finished second at the Worlds. Lower in the standings there weren't any meaningful changes.
