The Colombian palmarès at the Giro d'Italia

The Giro d'Italia is a race that has traditionally been very good for Colombians because, of course, of the three Grand Tours, it is the one that usually has the most mountainous difficulty. The Corsa Rosa has seen Nairo Quintana and Egan Bernal win the race in recent years.

In addition, Nairo himself, Miguel Ángel López, Rigoberto Urán and Esteban Chaves have all managed to finish on the final podium on occasion. All since 2013, making Colombia one of the most successful nations in the Giro in the last decade.
