Lotte Kopecky didn't quite manage to crack the top positions at the Ardennes classics and so the world champion made the logical choice and choose to enjoy some time off the bike to fully recover diving into the next part of the season.
While her teammates will be in the heat of action at La Vuelta Femenina, SD Worx - Protime waste no time and already announced which races will Kopecky attend in the upcoming months.
Major role in the Belgian's plans play the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris at the start of August, where only a gold medal can satisfy Kopecky. But before the race under five circles takes place, there'll still be a lot of racing to be done for the 28-year-old lady.
Kopecky will return to action at three-day RideLondon Classique (May 24-26), after which she will continue in the UK with Tour of Britain (June 6-9), before heading back to Belgium for National Championships (June 20 and 23). The final test ahead of the Olympics, as well as another big goal, for Kopecky is Giro d'Italia Donne (July 7-14).
