Stefan Bissegger has nightmare start to Tour de France with two crashes in rainy course

Stefan Bissegger was one of the main favourites heading into today's time-trial in Cpenhagen, however the weather has spoilt the opening day for the Swiss after not one, but two crashes took him out of contention for the win.
First in a left hander, then in a right-hander as the EF Education-Easypost rider kept pushing for a strong result. As one of the early starters, Bissegger went into the unknown with wet roads and payed a high price.

- On stage 6, Pogačar was isolated, but then Visma mysteriously slowed down, allowing Pavel Sivakov to come back (along with Benjamin Tulett), which was all Pogačar needed. Kuss and Jorgenson should have carried on attacking - not that they'd have be able to drop Pogačar, but, in an absolute best scenario, they'd have stopped him from dropping Vingegaard.
