From the 24th to the 26th of May, the women's peloton returns to Great Britain! The race starts off in Saffron Walden in the northeast of London. The whole stage will take place in this area, and it is the longest day of the three-day race. 159 kilometers on the menu but it should be a day for the sprinters in Colchester.
The second stage of the race starts and finishes in Maldon and can easily be termed the queen stage. 140 kilometers on the menu and it features three ascents of North Hill: 900 meters at 6%; two bonified sprints atop a small ascent in Wickham Bishops; and an 11% uphill sprint to the line which should make for a thrilling finale.
The race finishes with a circuit right in the heart of London. 8 laps of a 12-kilometer long circuit make for a short and explosive stage within the British capital, and the final sprint finish of the race is expected to be right in the iconic 'The Mall'.
