On March 14th, the peloton in France takes on the Grand Prix de Denain. Serving as a relative warm-up for Paris-Roubaix, this one-day race boasts numerous flat cobbled sectors that add intrigue to the competition each year. Let's explore its profile.
The race is almost completely pan-flat and often it ends in a sprint. However there are plenty places for riders to do damage; the race features 12 cobbled sectors and all are in the last 85 kilometers of the 199-kilometer event - which starts and finished in the city of Denain.
