Profile. On the 20th of January the European road season starts. This will be in Spain, with the Clásica Comunitat Valenciana, which should suit the sprinters however it is a race that does feature opportunities for others.
The Spanish race is over 200 kilometers long. It's first half is quite hard with several climb, including one almost from kilometer 0. However, unless some teams are very interested in making damage, a regular bunch sprint is expected. The run-in to Valencia is pan-flat and should suit the fast men.
