The Volta a Catalunya will be held from March 18th to 24th. This prestigious Spanish stage race annually attracts many of the world's top climbers, and this year's edition promises a spectacular route showcasing challenging terrain.
The total prize money for the race is of €109.500which comes together as the sum of all classifications and stage results. The winner of the overall classification takes home €14.000 whilst each stage winner wins €4000, with the first 20 riders across the line and in the GC each day take some sort of financial reward. The winners of the points, KOM and youth classifications win €1000.
