PREVIEW | ZLM Tour 2024 stage 4 - Rune Herregodts must defend lead in tricky cobbled stage

The ZLM Tour is scheduled from June 5th to 9th this year. Known as a crucial warm-up event before the Tour de France, this Dutch race offers ample chances for sprinters to compete for victories, setting the stage for their upcoming major goals. Here's a preview of the upcoming stage.
If there is a day to make differences outside of the time-trial, then certainly this is it. Stage 4 is the longest day of the race with 196 kilometers on the menu, but it also features two passages of the 2-kilometer long Hogerwaardpolder cobbled sector. The last one ends with 73 kilometers to go however, before a finale in Roosendaal.

They both put each other in the pressure cooker, but JV needs to win, in my opinion, more than TP. - Why would you expect cycling to be different than any other sport? World Tour riders pass tests in and out of competition, so the playing field is as level as can be found in any high level competition.
