On the 28th of January most eyes will be on Australia as the peloton tackles World Tour racing, however in Europe the climbers will gear up for the Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana. It is a climber-focused classic which should provide a lot of spectacle.
The race will feature two ascents before the Coll de Puig Maior, which will feature 14.1 kilometers at 6% and should be the main sector of the race. It will be a rolling finale then, with the final kilometers being flat, where the dynamics should be interesting. The race has seen last-minute course changes due to the very cold weather and snow forecast in the area.
The startlist includes: Julian Alaphilippe, Andrea Bagioli, Alex Aranburu, Tim Wellens, Brandon McNulty, João Almeida, Emanuel Buchmann, Guillaume Martin, Axel Zingle, Hugh Carthy, Louis Meintjes, Kobe Goossens and Warren Barguil.
Prediction Time

** Goossens, McNulty, R.Costa
* Bagioli, Wellens, Zingle, Serrano, Uijtdebroeks, van Eetvelt
Pick: Alex Aranburu
