On the 28th of January most eyes will be on Australia as the peloton tackles World Tour racing, however in Europe the climbers will gear up for the Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana. It is a climber-focused classic which should provide a lot of spectacle.
The race will feature two ascents before the Coll de Puig Maior, which will feature 14.1 kilometers at 6% and should be the main sector of the race. It will be a rolling finale then, with the final kilometers being flat, where the dynamics should be interesting. The route has seen last-minute changes due to poor weather.
