Profile. One of the many races for the sprinters throughout the transition period from spring to summer, the Heistse Pijl will take place in the 3rd of June.
The 200-kilometer race is one that will be quite interesting. One for the sprinters, however a small berg that the riders will take on for quite a few times is almost immediately followed by the finish line. The race will feature 6 laps, in each the riders face the Heistseberg which is a technical and cobbled 500 meters at 4%, which summits with only 900 meters to go. A very explosive finale, there is a small descent and short finishing straight where late attackers can succeed.
