Assuming that no further mishaps occur, Egan Bernal has set himself the goal of racing the 2023 Tour de France. The 2019 winner is coming back from horrific injuries suffered in January and has defied all chances to return to pro racing and aim for a competitive level in the coming season.
In a recent video Bernal was shown riding under intense rain, in a day where he rode 270 kilometers at 39Km/h of average speed behind his father on a motorbike. He has returned to his traditional "apocalypses" training sessions and the possibility of him returning to his best level consistently becomes more possible.
