Whilst Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL's Oscar Onley finds himself up the road in an elite, nine man breakaway early on, the Brit's 26-year-old Dutch teammate, Nils Eekhoff has been forced to abandon the fourth Grand Tour of his career after visibly struggling at the back.
It's not yet known the reason for Eekhoff's struggles, but as soon as more information is revealed, we will keep you up to date!
