Medical Report and Fines - Tour de France 2022 stage 16

The 16th stage of the Tour de France saw an equal balance between Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard, however in the Top10 there have been big differences created with a lot of moves. Hugo Houle took an emotional win in Foix after a daring and successful move in the first Pyrenean descent.

The day's medical report featured:

(7) Marc Soler - Digestive issues.

(64) Matteo Jorgenson - Crash: Road rash.

Numerous epistaxis with the heat (several riders were seen at the medical car).

As for the fines attributed, it were to the following:

Cofidis DS Alain Deloueil - Throwing bidons outside waste areas. 500CHF fine.

Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux DS Hilaire van der Schueren - Throwing bidons outside waste areas. 500CHF fine.

Bahrain - Victorious DS Gorazd Stangelj - Throwing bidons outside waste areas. 500CHF fine.

(22) Daniel Martínez - Throwing bidons outside waste areas. 500CHF fine. Penalty of 25 UCI points (first offence).

(12) Tisej Benoot - Urinating in public - 300CHF fine.
