The transfer market is buzzing with activity during the Tour de France, and one move has already been confirmed as Dylan Teuns, the winner of this year's Flèche Wallone aswell as a stage at the Tour de Romandie, has signed with a new team for 2023.
"I didn't have to discuss anything more yesterday," he told Sporza during the rest day. "Whether I will drive for a supermarket or for an old acquaintance? Who's to say? The future will tell."
With the decision made, all is left is for the announcement which should come at the start of August with the opening of the transfer market. The departure was known for months, and between the contenders Sporza mention both Israel - Premier Tech and B&B Hotels-KTM as prime contenders.
Both likely to be Pro Teams next year, it would mean a step down. However in both he would find more freedom. B&B Hotels-KTM are bringing in Carrefour as a title sponsor which will increase the team's budget to between 15 and 20 million euros, a superior value to several World Tour teams.
