Marianne Vos extends with Jumbo-Visma until 2025 - "Marianne has a track record that is second to none"

Marianne Vos has extended her stay with Jumbo Visma by two years and will continue to ride for the team until the end of 2025.

Vos is considered one of the elite and successful riders in the women's cycling scene. "I enjoy racing together and fighting for the win as a team. Women's cycling has professionalised so much in recent years that I am still discovering new challenges. And I am also still developing on a personal level. I am enormously motivated to train hard in order to get the very best out of myself," said Vos.

At 35 years old, Vos is one of the more experienced riders in the peloton and takes a mentorship role with her younger teammates."It is nice that I can share my experience with the younger riders on the team, but at the same time, I also learn from them. They make me look at certain things with different eyes. That's how we keep each other fresh and sharp, and together, we form a strong team,” explains the Dutchwoman.

Rutger Tijssen, sports manager, has high praise for Vos and hopes she will serve as a mentor to the upcoming riders." Marianne has a track record that is second to none. Her record is already huge, but she is still writing new victories to her name. We are confident that this will continue in the coming years. Marianne also fulfils the role of mentor for the young riders."
