Lorena Wiebes wins Simac Ladies tour as Mischa Bredewold secures the final stage

Mischa Bredewold has won the sixth and final stage of the Simac Ladies tour. She was the fastest in the bunch and crossed the finish line first to secure her victory.

The breakaway included Grossetête Maëlle, Silke Smulders and Kirstie van Haaften. The trio enjoyed the lead for some 20 kilometers before reuniting with the peloton. Grossetête Maëlle tried again and this time Jeanne Korevaar, Eline van Rooijen and Kirstie van Haaften joined her. They took a lead of over 1 minute and 15 seconds.

However, they were caught 70 kilometers before the finish. Mischa Bredewold was the fastest in the sprint and secured the gold, while Eleonora Camilla Gasparrini took silver. Lorena Wiebes finished third. Wiebes is also the overall winner of the tour.
