The Ronde van Drenthe was shortened today due to bad weather, and the more gentle race favoured the sprinters. Team SD Worx' Lorena Wiebes won over the competition.
The climbs over the VAM-berg reduced the peloton over some laps, but at the end of 95 kilometers the race came down to a sprint. Lorena Wiebes won the race for the line, with Susanne Andersen and Maike van der Duin completing the podium.
