Last year's winner Michal Kwiatkowski and Tom Pidcock headline INEOS Grenadiers at Amstel Gold Race

After his victory last year, Michal Kwiatkowski will return to the start line at Amstel Gold Race for the INEOS Grenadiers as part of a two-pronged attack alongside Tom Pidcock.

The British-based tasted success in the Netherlands last year in a controversial finish, as Benoit Cosnefroy was initially awarded the win before judges had to reverse their decision in favour of Kwiatkowski. The year prior INEOS were again involved in a hotly debated finale of the Amstel Gold Race. Tom Pidcock and Wout van Aert rolled over the finish line so close together that even the photo finish couldn't conclusively prove the winner. Van Aert was eventually named the victor although Pidcock still sometimes quips that he actually crossed the line first.

Alongside Pidcock and Kwiatkowski at the start line for the INEOS Grenadiers will be Brandon Rivera who most recently DNF'd at Brabantse Pijl and Kim Heiduk who continues a very busy spring for himself personally. Connor Swift, Magnus Sheffield and the 19-year-old Joshua Tarling.
