Jos van Emden will become new coach of Jumbo-Visma women's team next year

Jos van Emden has found a new challenge. The Dutchman will retire as a professional cyclist at the end of this year, but will remain affiliated with Jumbo-Visma. Van Emden will become coach of the Jumbo-Visma women's team.

Van Emden is not the only new name. Maarten van Kooij and Jan Boven also join the women's team. Carmen Small, Lieselot Decroix and Marieke van Wanroij then wave goodbye to the team.

Merijn Zeeman explains on the team's website: "We are continuing to build our women's team. We have been through ups and downs in recent years. By creating a clearer link between the women's and men's teams in all areas, we expect to see further development in the coming years. I am therefore confident that our women's team will become increasingly dominant."
