"It's still unreal that I get to ride in this jersey" - Tobias Foss almost strikes big on first outing in rainbow jersey

Despite his best efforts, Tobias Foss was unable to lift the rainbow jersey in the Chrono des Nations. The Norwegian was two seconds slower than Swiss rider Stefan Kung.

Foss beat Kung in the World Championship, but this time Kung was not going down easily. "It was a nice fight," Foss said. He continues, "It's unfortunate that I lost by two seconds, but all in all, I can definitely be satisfied with this. After the Giro di Lombardia I was a bit sick, so I didn't have the best legs today. Nevertheless, I gave everything, and I'm happy I was able to do the time trial in a good way," said Foss.

Nevertheless, it was a special day for him since he got to show off his rainbow jersey for the first time after winning the World Championship. "It's still unreal that I get to ride in this jersey. Normally I ride my races in yellow-black, and now suddenly, my jersey looked completely different. Although it was not a memorable time trial, I enjoyed it immensely. Now it's time for vacation," concluded Foss.
