"Hopefully everything will be clarified by the end of the Tour" - Tim Declercq uncertain about his future

Tim Declercq is one of the key pieces in Soudal - Quick-Step puzzle, however there's no certainty that the 34-year old Belgian will continue with the team as team owner Patrick Lefevere is looking into other options as well as possible new (partial) owner of the team.

In an interview with Het Laatste Nieuws, the team manager revealed that Tim Declercq is one of the doubtful cases."Everything is still in the progress," says Declercq about the contract negotiations. "I'm talking to Patrick and there are other possibilities as well. There is no clarity yet. Hopefully everything will be clarified by the end of the Tour."
