Fernando Gaviria is looking forward to stage 17 of the
Giro d'Italia with the sole objective of winning. The
Movistar Team sprinter makes it clear that he has arrived at the corsa rosa with good legs and wants to leave with a win.
"I think the main objective is to reach the sprint, the whole team is very motivated. Each member is clear about it. There is always pressure. We have come with very good legs to this Giro d'Italia and we have missed opportunities for cycling circumstances, for my mistakes, the whole team continues to support me, we are motivated, we all want the sprint."
The Colombian concluded his statements by affirming that he is feeling well from the falls and that he is confident in his chances:
"Already the pains are minimal, accumulating kilometers is difficult, but we are in good condition after the break. Every sprint is different, you don't always move in the right way, from the right place, the team trusts me and I trust them, we will have to follow the instinct and make the decision in seconds."
